Δόξα ἐν ὑψίστοις Θεῷ,
καὶ ἐπὶ γῆς εἰρήνη,
ἐν ἀνθρώποις εὐδοκία.

Glory in the highest to God,
and upon earth peace,
to men goodwill.

God is glorified in the heavens, by His incarnation peace reigns upon the earth,
to man His goodwill is extended but it is up to each man to accept, or reject, that grace.
