Στρέφοντας τὸ νοῦ σου στὸν Θεό, σκέψου· α´ τὴν μεγάλη χαρὰ ποὺ ἀπὸ αἰῶνες νωρίτερα εἶχε ὁ Θεὸς σκεπτόμενος τὸ πρόσωπο τῆς Θεοτόκου· τὶς ἀρετὲς καὶ τὶς πράξεις της, ἀπὸ τότε ποὺ γεννήθηκεστὸν κόσμο, μέχρι τότε ποὺ ἀναπαύθηκε.

Turn your nous to God, consider: the great grace which in ages past shone from the face of the Theotokos, as well as her virtues and her deeds, from the time she was born into the world, until she left.
